Class participation |
30% |
Students need to come to class on weekly basis. Your final grade will be lowered if you fail to do so. Good learning attitudes mainly include arriving classes on time and engage actively in various activities as related to listening, reading, speaking and writing. |

Student-led discussion |
20% |
In a pair or small group, students will outline and carry
out discussion-based project about a Unit topic. In this process of preparations, students will first read about one assigned textbook topic, then design activities that will elicit meaningful discussions in the class.

Student reviews |
20% |
Students are required to constantly listen to one another’s
opinions and share about their own thoughts in the form of a peer-review and a self-evaluation. This will be done mainly in written forms.

Midterm & Final assessment |

To evaluate students’ learning outcomes, a semi-structured assessment will be conducted during Midterm (Week 8) and final’s (Week 16) weeks. |
